What’s the best investment for my dog? Dog trainer vs pack walker
Obviously we’re not saying dog training isn’t a good investment…but sometimes you need to look at the larger picture of your lifestyle and your dogs needs
“What’s going to benefit my dog more long term?”
A lot of people wait till it’s too late to start training. This is when you begin behavior modification training.
Training is for puppy who are a blank canvas
A lot of trainers don’t explain in behavior modification that exercise is probably the reason your dog is acting up. Especially if you are dealing with a larger working breed.
When dog’s are correctly mentally and physically stimulated and have the rules to follow you’re basically giving them a ‘work’ routine. When they understand what’s coming next they’re calmer, less frantic and pent up behaviors diminish.
Dogs don’t want to be ‘in charge’ being in charge is hard work. As we’ve said before they’re the biggest attention seekers they like being attended to! Exactly why their behavior is off balance when they don’t feel someone is guiding them
Enrolling your dog with a pack walker has so many behavioral benefits it’s hard to list them all, even behaviors you wouldn’t even think of modify just from getting out the house a couple times a week for a couple hours at a time.
During all our training sessions we advocate them to people, we believe more trainers should be suggesting this.
Dogs need to ‘work’ if you’re having behavioral issues the chances of you adjusting your lifestyle is super slim! Just being honest. If 90% of or behavioral issues a link to a lack of exercise isn’t obvious to get your dog out more!
A necessity into your dog life investment!

We just adopted a rescue Pomeranian. Do you work with many small dogs this size? We are considering a consult. She is having a fear barking issue but I am a little nervous of turning her over to a pack of much bigger dogs
